AGING-IN PROGRAM

Every year over 26,000 youth age out of foster care. At 18 years of age they are dropped off somewhere, many with no permanent connections. Over twenty percent are instantly homeless. Fifty percent will be jobless at age 24, and 7 out of 10 girls will be pregnant before age 21. Sixty percent of young men will have been convicted of a crime. This has become a crisis.

The Aging In program is designed to come alongside the youth who age out, bringing targeted services to meet the individual needs of the youth. Aging In desires to create a community where the youth can make permanent, lifetime connections.

Some services we provide include:

  • Affordable safe housing

  • Individualized education through AIM academy

  • Counseling

  • Life skills training and hands on job training

  • Discipleship

  • Safe community

WIDOWS IN CRISIS

1 Timothy 5:16 says, “If any man or woman that believeth have widows, let them relieve them, and let not the church be charged; that it may relieve them that are widows indeed.” This is the driving force of our Aging In widow’s program.

Our goal is to create a community for true widows, providing safe and affordable housing. Discovering the widow’s strengths to utilize within the community, giving them a sense of value and need.

Please contact us at Rachel@99plus1.foundation if you know a widow in crisis or if you desire to become a part of our community.
